Getting there
Passalacqua has a private jetty and says guests can reach the villa from Milan airports in roughly 90 minutes. Villa d'Este lists Malpensa at about 48 minutes and Linate at about one hour to Lake Como, not door to door; you can arrive by private boat on request or by public ferry to Cernobbio pier and a five-minute walk.
Seasons
Passalacqua says it normally closes between early January and early March. Check both hotels' dates before booking.
