Inter and Milan at San Siro: the VIP and skybox guide

What 'VIP' actually buys you at San Siro, and how to access the Inter and Milan derby like a season-ticket holder.

4 min read

San Siro hosts both AC Milan and Internazionale — at 75,923 seats, the largest stadium in Italy. The VIP and hospitality offer has expanded substantially since 2019.

What's actually available **Skybox** — 12–20 person private boxes, full glass-front view, catering and bar inside. €4,500–€12,000 for a regular match, €15,000+ for a derby or Champions League knockout. **VIP seating in the Tribuna Coperta** — front-row central, dedicated entrance, dedicated catering lounge. €350–€750 per person regular, €1,200–€2,500 for derby/CL. **Hospitality package** — second-tier, all-inclusive food and wine, central seats. €280–€450 per person.

The fixtures that matter **Derby della Madonnina** (Milan vs Inter) — twice a year in Serie A, plus cup ties. The single hardest ticket in Italian football. **Champions League knockout rounds** — usually February–May. **Coppa Italia semi-finals and final** — when San Siro hosts.

What to wear Surprisingly relaxed. Smart casual in VIP, jeans-acceptable in hospitality. Team scarves only worn carefully — both clubs share the stadium and home/away ambiguity matters.

Getting there San Siro is 8 km west of Milan centre. By [Mercedes V-Class](/atlas/private-transfer-milan-lake-como) it is 20 minutes outside of match-day traffic, 45 minutes within 90 minutes of kickoff. Our chauffeurs drop at the VIP entrance.
